About us

Dinka stands for Dutch INitiative Kids Africa.

Our school was registered in July 2014 with registration number AR. 02/7/EA. 057 for the kindergarten school and AR. 02/7/052 for our primary school. We offer the NECTA curriculum education (National Examination Council of Tanzania) and enrich the curriculum with a broad co-curricular program. All curriculum subjects are taught in English language except Kiswahili and French. Dinka is a mixed school registering pupil of all backgrounds. We admit pupils for nursery to standard seven. We believe in the power of unity by working as a team in providing quality education to all children. A better world will depend on the present children who must learn by being curious, inquisitive and reason.

1. Classrooms
Our classrooms are very spacious and best ventilated with debate and learning corners in each classroom.

1. Dormitories
We have boys and girls dormitories that can accommodate the intended number of boarding pupils.

3. Library
We have a well-equipped library which is staked with resourceful references and many kinds of reading and educational books. The library is designed to make reading fun and a hobby for our pupils.

4. Playgrounds
We are boasting of a good standard of playgrounds for various games such as football, basketball, volleyball, netball, tennis, hockey, swings, and slides.

5. Kitchen
We have a very spacious, clean, and modern kitchen

6. Dining and multipurpose hall
We have a very attractive and latest design of a multipurpose hall for dining, pupils’ assemblies, debates, in-door games, music classes, meetings, and other school functions. We also use the hall for extra tuition, and indoor activities such as taekwondo, ballet, table tennis, music, and art classes. These activities help in developing pupils’ talents and building their courage.

7. Environment
Our school environment is exceptionally known for its unique way of preserving nature which eventually provides the best learning environment. Our pupils have enormously contributed to conserving the Dinka school natural environment.

8. Furniture
We have more furniture with highest quality.

9. Technology
Our computer room is equipped with a good quantity of desktop and laptop computers for pupils’ ICT lessons. We start teaching practical ICT from standard one.
